STRONG High Seas welcomes the new Secretary General of the Permanent Commission for the South Pacific (CPPS)

The STRONG High Seas project welcomes the new Secretary General of the Permanent Commission for the South Pacific (CPPS), Ambassador José Luis Néstor Pérez Sánchez-Cerro of Peru, who will be heading the CPPS Secretariat for the next four years.

The new Secretary General was officially welcomed during the 15th General Assembly of the CPPS on 18 January 2022 and started his position on 1 February 2022.

The STRONG High Seas project would like to thank Ambassador Méntor Patricio Villagómez Merino of Ecuador for his continued support and collaboration over the last four years and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
