{"id":546,"date":"2020-11-26T14:32:19","date_gmt":"2020-11-26T13:32:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.prog-ocean.org\/marine-regions-forum\/?p=546"},"modified":"2023-05-02T13:42:16","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T11:42:16","slug":"online-workshop-on-ocean-governance-and-covid-19-building-resilience-for-marine-regions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.prog-ocean.org\/marine-regions-forum\/2020\/11\/26\/online-workshop-on-ocean-governance-and-covid-19-building-resilience-for-marine-regions\/","title":{"rendered":"Online Workshop: Ocean Governance and COVID-19 &#8211; Building resilience for marine regions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Marine Regions Forum Online Workshop on\u00a0 &#8216;<strong>Ocean Governance and COVID-19 &#8211; <\/strong><strong>Building resilience for marine regions&#8217;<\/strong> took place on Thursday, 28 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>A summary report is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prog-ocean.org\/marine-regions-forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Summary-report_MRF-workshop-on-regional-responses-to-COVID-19_210315.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The workshop was organized by the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS), the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), and TMG-Think Tank for Sustainability, together with the German Environment Agency (UBA), the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this interactive workshop was to explore possible pathways to address the effects of the COVID-19 crisis in marine regions.
